Just hate to throw away wine corks. Crazy, huh? Anyway, I keep them in this glass pedestal dish. I like the patina and the texture they give my kitchen. And they all bear various names and emblems.
You can do all kinds of things with wine corks like make bulletin boards and trivets or slit the edge and use for place cards like this.
I'll bet you can tell us all kind of crafty ways to reuse them. Please do in your comments below and then tell us all about your collections at http://thecharmhouse.blogspot.com/.

Now how clever are you? They do make such a beautiful and interesting decorations. I would never have thought of that. I also LOVE the rooster. Really neat. Hugs, Marty
Hi, my cousin collects corks as well but in the end she had too many (perhaps she likes wine too much :P). She sliced the corks in half, glued them to a board, framed them and turned them into cork boards. In the end all the family were saving their corks and she gave them as presents. They worked really well and were quite a talking point in the kitchen.
I finally got jars like I used of yours for the candy at my wedding and I have started saving wine corks in one of those. Oh and we purchased an old table on our honeymoon in San juan that the base is created from iron from the doors of Old San Juan and the table top is made from corks. It's too cute!
