Down the rock path...

This time of year is like Christmas to a gardener - so much to do, so little time, but so much joy to come from it. Come on in to our garden through the pink roses blooming on the trellis and down the rock path. Who knows what blooms we will find peeping up at us today?

Oh look! Our peony bush is popping open. Smell that sweet fragrance. mmmm!

Finally, our Iris is unfolding. I thought it would never show it's colors.

What a nice resting place for our little bunny among the Ajuga plants.

“…Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come…”
Song of Solomon 2:12

Now, let's stroll over to Susan's for Outdoor Wednesday.

Wow, your garden is just gorgeous. I love the trellis and the pink roses, what a beautiful sight. All the blooms are so wonderful. Love them all. Here in the desert we are at the end of all the blooms, so we look forward to winter, but what a treat to see all of yours. Hugs, Marty

Hi-

Your gardening photos are lovely.

Was the rock path hard to create?

I have that on my to do list.

Laura,

My husband did the rock path. I think leveling it off is the hardest part. We laid flat stones for the steps down first and then filled in with pebbles. He chose to use bricks for the border. Good luck!
