Sunday Eve

On Thanksgiving day,
everyone pitched in to put up the Christmas tree.

Even little Jack got in on the activities. Having family around this time of the year
and the lights on the tree reminded me that:

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. ~James 1:17

I'm sharing this thought with Spiritual Sunday.

Hi Marsha! Now there's a great idea... doing the tree with wonderful help from your daughter and grandson! I can't wait to see the whole tree... thanks for the tease...

Your tree is beautiful, Marsha. What better way to spend the afternoon than you did with your family. What a blessing!

Thanks so much for coming by my place today
I hope this Sunday is a blessed one for you and your family.
We will be leaving in a little while for our home church fellowship. We always eat together..everyone bringing such good good stuff..today it's cold and a little rainy so I fixed a big crockpot full of spicy beans and rice, with ham. First time I've fixed it so I am hoping everyone likes it.
I do love our fellowship...small, about 10 couples and children, and they are all like family.
