wings of a dove

I hope this will suffice as my contribution to Mosaic Monday.

I love the tall willowy grasses this time of year. We have several groupings in our back yard and I'm finding them lovely photo material. As you can see, the doves love them too. When I caught a flock of ashen doves beside the silvery grasses, I had to take time to get a few shots.

We can learn from the gentle doves. Don't they look calm and peaceful, enjoying what's left of the day? Enjoy your week. November is passing by.

So pretty! We use to have morning doves close by and I loved seeing and hearing them. Don't know why, but have not seen or heard them for some time now. A lot of outside cats in the neighborhood. :(

Wow, Marsha, your photography is so beautiful... you have a great eye to pick up not only wonderful images, but have the ability to include the emotions / feelings in the pictures. So peaceful indeed! How I wish we all could slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures of life!

I always love the way a pair of doves will sit near each other on the branch -- isn't that sweet? Thanks so much for sharing your lovely mosaic at MM. :)

Absolutely gorgeous. You have such talent - you are so blessed. I also liked your list of things to be thankful for: the clean sheets and a microwave. Gee, I have an extra you could use☺

I love the dove mosaic. Every now and then they sing to each other outside here at my house and I love them. We stop what we are doing and just listen.
