shopping-it’s therapy

boots

How do you like my new rain boots?

Today, I had a whole day to myself to do whatever I want.  What did I do?  I went shopping, of course.  Have you ever heard the saying,

“When the going gets tough,

the tough go shopping”?

That’s me!

Every well-dressed woman at the mall was sporting a pair of fashionable rain boots over her straight legged jeans.  So why should I be different?  Of course, the funny thing is I do want to be different.  The truth is, I want rain boots like everyone else, but I don’t want anyone to have rain boots just like mine!

Have you ever wondered why we want to be like everyone else?  Or do we?  It’s a puzzling phenomenon.

Love your boots!

My sister and I seem to have that problem. If she buys something, then I want it and vice-versa. Maybe it's just a sister thing!

I always think I am going to get wild and buy the bright crazy color and end up with navy blue! I need to live a little! Love those boots! I do like to be unique. I think everyone does! Great post!

I hate to go shopping. It is my own fault I am too heavy to buy all the cutesy little things so I have no one to blame. But today I had to go shopping for a special 40th. birthday gift for my precious daughter who's birthday is April 1st. I did get myself a new outfit. Always too long have to take the pants up. But is was also cloudy and raining so getting out was good instead of sitting at home pouting.

I have a black belt in shopping! I am due for a little retail therapy now that I think of it. I have a pair of those boots...wear nice thick socks with them because they are hard rubber and have very little 'give'. I love yours...mine are sort of plain. Just perfect for jumping around in puddles!

These are so darn cute, love the little hearts, and I agree, if I buy a present for someone I usually have to have one for myself, oooh, that really sounds bad doesn't it?

Those are the cutest rain boots! Living in south Texas.....I don't need rain boots, in fact... I've NEVER owned a pair of rain boots.
However, I do love to go shopping.

Did someone say shopping??? LOL. There's just so much satisfaction when finding that perfect "something."

Too cute. My daughter has a pair because as a teacher she has to put the children on the bus at the end of the day.. Me, I just want a pair as I think they are so cute!

Cute rainboots are EVERYWHERE this year and such a fun fashion statement. Have not purchased any yet but they are certainly on my list.
