Monday, one day past Easter

DSC_0182

While finding a place for those chicks and bunnies,

and washing and folding

the table linens,

my eye glances at the hostess gift of tulips

and I smile.

I find that I’m still at peace from the day at the farm.

on Daffodil Hill.

thrill

I’m still renewed by watching children happy… jack in the daffodils

and amazed when first their eyes behold

the life I so often take for granted.

(At mid-week, my mind’s stuck on the places and faces of this post so in lieu of another post, I’m sharing this with

Outdoor Wednesday.)

So how’s your week?

What a beautiful post. I had a quiet day at work today, which is good as I am still recovering from a weekend full of family fun.

Wonderful images. I went to visit a friend today and took her a vase full of orange tulips with a hot pink bow, she loved them. I love this time of year. Thanks for visiting, so good to see you again.

Marsha,
Beautiful images and memories. My parents live on a farm, and it's so fun to be there for holidays - especially Easter and the 4th of July. It's a wonderful place for children to see the wide open fields, baby animals, and all that nature has to offer in the country.

Thanks for the sweet note you left on my last post. Rita

What beautiful photographs.
I am linking to the same party.
Stop by if you have time.

I grew daffodils for the first time this spring and I realized I didn't plant them deep enough.

They have all collapsed!

Wow look how green everything is!

The only green around here is that I am green with envy! Still waiting for Spring to really sprout around here...
