A NEW THING

I love new things; new houses, new clothes, new shoes, new babies, new ideas, new friends, new mornings. Saturday morning was especially nice. Not only was it a new day, but as I stepped outside, “newness” was popping up all over!

The newness of Spring always gives me new hope. Spring is a message from God to lift our spirits and give us new hope and a fresh start.

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.”
Isaiah 43:18-19

I grabbed my camera trying futilely to preserve the new freshness in our yard that had seemingly happened overnight. I found this delicate violet colored bloom on a vine, but I'm not sure what it is. If you recognize it, let me know what it's called.

At the sight of these bright fuchsia blooms, this Weeping Red Bud tree must be crying tears of joy!

Not sure what this blooming bush is either. Again, if you know, let me know.

Wisteria is just about to POP!! Can't wait!

A good friend gave me these sweet, delicate perennials. Maybe she can remind me what they are called. :)

Our two small lilac bushes are covered in white lacy blooms.

My sweet sweet bleeding heart that comes up consistently every year, but just doesn't last long enough.

Our first tulip to bloom this Spring.

"May God give you of heaven's dew and of earth's richness!" Gen. 27:28
