on a crisp autumn day

Hi there! Grab a cup of cocoa, pull up a chair; let’s do some sightseeing on a crisp autumn day. If you’re not in the mood for fall, you will be before we’re through. You might even get a few fall decorating ideas.

Take a deep breath! Smell the clean, fresh air! Here's a view from the Mount Washington Hotel in New Hampshire on a crisp autumn day.

Doesn't this red covered bridge just say FALL to you. This one will take us over the Pemigewasset River.

Ahhh! How refreshing. Autumn leaves running through…

a bubbling brook.

What are trips for? A little sight seeing and a LOT of shopping! Flossie is all decked out for autumn, wouldn’t you say? I'll bet you could find just about anything within her doors.

And you just have to see this gorgeous mantle at the Snowflake Inn in Jackson, NH. Love the white pumpkins and gourds, red autumn leaves and twinkling lights.

How about this shop in Ogunquit, Maine? Don’t you love it?

Have you ever seen a pumpkin this large…
Or a haystack man?

WHEW! What a trip! You know after traveling, it’s always nice to come back home…
Rocky, who always happily greets visitors at my front door says, "Come on in!"

And relax by a roaring fire.
{Sigh}...There's no place like home.
And there's NO PLACE like Rhoda's for the 2009 Fall Party or Cheri's Celebrate the Holidays. See for yourself!

Marsha,

Gorgeous pictures. Now this is a town I could really have fun in. Flossie's look so cute, I'd love to see what she has to sell. And I love the covered bridge. Fall is her favorite dress!!

Thanks Marsha!! I will be joining Rhoda's party in awhile!

Marsha, You took some very pretty photos, so you must be an accomplished photographer! Love the one shot of the leaves...
I've been in the mood for fall for several weeks now, so you didn't have to sway me~ *grin*

Thanks for stopping by for a visit to my fall decorating post yesterday. Hope you'll come by again someday.

Hi Marsha :) You probably didn't recognize my witch face either... I am all dressed up for the holiday season. I am still recovering from my back injury so I wasn't at the computer for very long at all... answering e-mail on my iphone or not at all. So I didn't blog at all... I was really in a lot of pain. Plus our son and his wife and their three children are living with us at the moment... Its fun having the grandkids here but its also made our empty nest full and noisy and filled. I feel like we are busting at the seams... I let my son and his wife and their new baby have my office/studio and I put a small desk and my computer in my bedroom. I turned my work out room into the kids playroom months ago... and now its their bedroom! Its been great having their help when my back was injured and there is really never a dull moment! I am sure you can relate!

Lets have some fun!
