A Pumpkin Patch

We visited a pumpkin farm Saturday. It was a beautiful autumn day and the views at the farm were just gorgeous. If you'd like, you can read more about the oldest working farm in Tennessee at their website here. I like to share our day with all of you at Mary's Mosaic Monday and Susan's Outdoor Wednesday.

We picked our own pumpkins in their pumpkin patch.

Jack found one just his size.

We toured the farm on an old fashion hayride. It truly takes you back in time.

Isn't he cute! He's an endangered animal called Jacob Sheep.

It is so rewarding and fun to watch your little ones experience the small wonders of life for the first time.
What an awesome way to spend a fresh fall day!
"Youth is like spring, an over- praised season
more remarkable for biting winds than genial breezes.
Autumn is the mellower season,
and what we lose in flowers we more than gain in fruits."
~ Samuel Butler

I love your Fall photos and that Jack is a little QT Pie! Today I am going on a bus with 50 Toddlers to a pumpkin farm with my little GS. I think besides my camera I should bring ear plugs:) I am looking forward to seeing my little GS face when he sees all these pumpkins too.

The only that compares to a visit to a pumpkin farm is to go and cut your own Christmas tree from a tree farm. There are always such good smells and crisp air. Not to mention the adorable kid photos you get to take.
