Turn up the heat!

I don't know about you, but it's still not warm enough for me this spring of 2009. The temperature is supposed to get down in the low 40s tonight. I guess I'm just not far enough south so I pulled out some photos that would warm me up and you too, I hope.

So have a margarita, sit a spell, and warm up (or chill out) in the Caribbean.

We took this one off the beach in St. Maarten. The most beautiful blue water!

Upon arriving the island of Bon Aire. Charming little island with lots of shopping!

Beautiful Aruba. Did you know that Aruba is only 20 miles long and even though it is surrounded by water, it's landscape is very similar to Arizona!

And one of my favorite islands, hilly St. Thomas from the sea.

mmmm...where's the suntan lotion?

Finished your drink?
Stroll over to Susan's Outdoor Wednesday @ http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/ and enjoy.

Well...I cannot say the same about where I live. It was over 100 degree's here today. The AC was on from 11AM until now. And it is still hot outside.
Wow..what a beautiful trip! I have an uneasy feeling about Aruba...and I know it isn't fair to the Country. It makes me feel bad..but I do. It certainly is lovely though and it is no wonder it is a favorite place to vacation.
And Marsha...thank you So much for becoming a follower. I appreciate that so much.

After discovering your blog I had to back track and look at your old posts. I discovered the photo of Aruba and my heart went pitter patter. You see, I was born there and spent the first 10 years of my life on that wonderful little island! I visited again when I was 16 but that was almost 40 years ago. I will go back one of these days but do know it has changed.
