Walking…

is one exercise that I enjoy doing so I do.  Lately, I try to remember to bring my camera along.  I don’t always see sights worthy of clicking, but you can bet if I don’t bring my camera, I will see a dozen picturesque moments I wish I could have captured.  It must be kind of like being a fisherman.  The fish that “got away” is always the BEST!

Then at times, I see sights like this.  To most people, this scene probably seems ordinary, but not to me.

Such a tranquil, peaceful sight in a busy world while I’m walking and thinking about what I need to do when I get home.

OH, the stories it could tell.  OH, the memories it holds.

Dearest Marsha,
May you have a great week-end!
These walks you have look like you see alot of beauty. Very relaxing.

I think this building is interesting. There's been so many times I wished I had my camera with me...grins. My phone doesn't have a camera in it...I might just have to get one that has one.

God bless,
d

I always take my camera too and go in search of building such as the one in your photo. Old barns, etc. anything that is falling down or falling apart.

Great photo, Marsha!

Hi Marsha. What a beautiful picture. I love old barns and buildings. They have such great character.
It does seem when you don't have a camera with you you miss some good shots. I carry a little cheap point & shoot one in my purse even. LOL!

Beautiful photograph! I need to remember to take mine with me when I go places. Today I went to a barn sale and although there was nothing there to buy (well, that's not try, everything I wanted to buy wasn't for sale, ROTFL) along the way there were some beautiful photographs just waiting to be taken and no camera!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Hi Marsha, this looks beautiful, looks like it was taken right out of a book. I agree, very tranquil looking, I'd love to see something like that on my morning walk instead of just street after street of houses ;-)
Thanks for stopping by my place... just returning the visit again, and wishing you a wonderful weekend.

I'd love to see sights like that. We're in a housing tract, so I'd have to drive before I walked to see that kind of sight :-)
Blessings,
Marcia

Love the photo. I try to remember my camera also, but don't always do a good job. It is amazing what you find close to home. The picture in my header was taken a short distance from where I live.
Enjoy your weekend.

Hi Marsha

I just love old barns. I know that ours used to be where town folk came to have their horses shoed.

Enjoy!

Beautiful photo Marsha. I try to remember my camera too.

There is an organization, in Missouri, dedicated to the preservation of old barns. We love these old buildings.

Hope your festival wasn't rained out!

Me again! :-) I saw your comment on Pat's blog about the Main St. Festival. I had so hoped to be up there is weekend, but things happen. Hope the weather did not get too bad. The storms finally cleared out around here - had been going off and on since some time during the night (I did not look at the clock).

I'd like to be sitting under the tree with a good book.
