Let the sea resound,
and all that is in it;
let the fields be jubilant,
and everything in them!
1 Chronicles 16:32
If you’re interested, the effect above was achieved in PSE.
I first applied Gaussian Blur at 20% and then applied the texture “Swirls” at 33% Opacity.
You can find the texture “Swirls” at Shadowhouse Creations.
They have some awesome free downloads.

Beautiful picture and verse, Marsha. I have Printshop Elements 8--and am just learning it. So far, I haven't even tried to get into the 'fancy' stuff.... Wish I had more time in my life...
Hope you had a great Saturday.
Hugs,
Betsy

Marsha! Funny you stopped by... I was visiting your post this afternoon and spent some time over at Shadowhouse Creations... What an artist! And what a beautiful job you did incorporating his background! I tried to find the swirls pattern, but could not...
meanwhile... I downloaded PS something 3
:o)
I was just about to shut down this ole laptop when I saw your comment... then realized that I never came back to your post after my Shadowhouse stop.
I'm just restarting the new computer... to see how the program looks! I'm so excited... this could be dangerous for getting any sleep :D
~thanks, Marsha!
